Future plans
A) Junior Action league – starts Monday, May 12 at 5 pm. More coaches welcome to ensure supervision levels remain high. Considerable discussion on sufficient equipment to meet the need. Jim T suggests that we research and then buy three semi-auto pistols and related accessories to that we have the equipment that will fit the younger student optimally. Randy N agreed to research this issue. Allan F to review casino use of proceeds to ensure this is an eligible expense.
B) Action league – starts Monday, May 12 at 6 pm. Those junior students who display safety and competency in handling firearms will be invited to participate.
C)Junior PPC League – starts Wednesday, May 14 at 5 pm. Sufficient coaches available for this league. Sufficient equipment in place.
D) PPC league – starts Wednesday, May 14 at 6 pm. Those junior students who display safety and competency in handling firearms will be invited to participate.
E) 3 Gun Match – CCSC will continue to provide free match fee, firearm use and ammunition for all junior competitors. We will run juniors separately in a modified course of fire – probably on Friday so coaches can still compete later in the weekend.
F) Cowboy Action (Del S / Walter G)– Frontier Shootists Society – have additional targets, props, etc. Want to get Cowboy action happening here in Lethbridge as it is a very safe, family oriented, fun sport. CCSC encourages Cowboy Action as a discipline.
League results and discussion. Meeting adjourned 8.05 pm.
